As Thanksgiving approaches we are each reminded how much we have to be thankful for. At the American Red Cross DFW, we are fortunate to have volunteers and partners that help make our work possible. Having had so many disasters in 2017, we want to send a special thanks to those who made it possible for the Red Cross to provide assistance to those in need.
THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers. We know many loyal humanitarians volunteer locally and also take vacation time to serve those in the midst of disaster. We truly appreciate the sacrifices you make; you are the heart of our organization.
THANK YOU to our selfless blood donors who ensure hospital shelves are stocked with adequate blood supply to save lives. Many of you have or know someone who has experienced the need for blood and the significance of making a regular blood donation. What may seem like a simple gesture to you could save someone’s life and we appreciate your commitment to helping us stay prepared.
THANK YOU to our corporate and foundation partners! Your incredible generosity never ceases to amaze us. In the past few months, we have experienced disasters of an unprecedented magnitude. Without your help, we would not have been able to provide safe shelters, distribute food and comfort items for disaster victims, transport people and materials to help those in need, and then continue help those affected navigate the long road to recovery. We can’t begin to express how grateful we are for your partnership and generosity.
We also want to say a very special thank you to those partners who choose to invest in our mission year-round. Because of your commitment, the Red Cross is ready at a moment’s notice. Thank you for your generosity and faith. We’ve made special notation of these annual partners by placing an * next to their names.
